Service Geography

ecoCarve delivers within Australia and overseas.  If you reside outside Australia, please note ecoCarve products are made from natural wood, and your country may restrict or deny entry.  Please check with your local customs/postal service.

 

Production Time

All ecoCarve products are custom-made to order.  We aim to make and despatch orders within 5 business days, although this may extend during Christmas peak times.  

Products ordered by Express Delivery (see below) will be prioritised for earlier despatch if possible.

 

Latest Order Dates for Delivery by Christmas 2019!

ecoCarve makes no assurance of overseas delivery in time for Christmas.  There are too many factors in play, including distance from Australia, customs clearance and local post capabilities.

In Australia, we unfortunately CANNOT guarantee delivery by Christmas for orders placed after Monday 9 December 2019.  Clearly, delivery date depends a lot on the vagaries of your location relative to Melbourne Australia, your choice of delivery priority, demand across the Australia Post network, and, to some extent, the demand we have at ecoCarve. We MAY be able to get your order to you if placed after this date, but we cannot guarantee it.

 

Delivery Time - Australia

ecoCarve is based in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, and despatches products nationwide through the Australia Post network.  

Delivery time from despatch to arrival at your Delivery Address depends on your address relative to Melbourne, and the Delivery Option you select - either Standard or Express: 


  • Standard Delivery orders are despatched by Parcel Post, and generally see products arrive within 2-6 business days. For more information on Standard delivery times to your area, please visit:

  • Express Delivery orders are despatched by Express Post, aiming for next business day delivery.  But please note this is available only within the Express Post next business day delivery network.  For more details of Express Delivery relative to your location, please visit:

Delivery Time - Overseas 

ecoCarve despatches products overseas, but again please note ecoCarve products are made from natural wood, and your country may restrict or deny entry.  Please check with your local customs/postal service before placing an order.  Australia Post also provides some guidance on specific country restrictions at:

Total Time from Order to Delivery

We always aim to get your order to you as quickly as possible.  The total anticipated elapsed time from the day you order to the day you should anticipate delivery is Production Time + Delivery Time, in whole business days, eg:

  • Order by Standard Delivery on Wed 19-Jun for delivery to an address in Sydney
  • Despatch by ecoCarve by Wed 26-Jun (5 business days, 7 calendar days)
  • Arrive with Customer either Fri 28-Jun or Mon 1Jul (2-3 business days from Melbourne, or 2-5 calendar days)

This may extend during Christmas peak times.  At these times, please refer to the Last Christmas Orders date(s) published on this site by 30 November each year.

 

Delivery Charge

Some ecoCarve products are heavy, and delivery costs are sensitive to weight. This precludes an economic single flat delivery rate for Standard or Express Delivery.  

Delivery charge is calculated at checkout based on the weight of your item(s) and your choice of Standard or Express Delivery.  For large orders totalling more than 5kg, and for overseas deliveries, this calculation also includes distance. Charges are automatically calculated to reflect and recover only the actual delivery cost incurred by ecoCarve.

Discounted (below cost) national delivery charges are offered for all orders less than 5kg in total weight delivered within Australia.

 

Customer Collection

Customer Collection may be selected. In this case, products may be collected from the following Australia Post pick-up point during normal business hours:

Wattletree Road LPO, 283 Wattletree Road, Malvern East, Victoria 3145.

The total anticipated elapsed time from the day you order to the day you should anticipate your item(s) are available for collection is the Production Time, or 5 business days (usually 7 calendar days).

There is no Delivery Charge for customer-collected orders.

 

Order Tracking

All ecoCarve orders can be tracked between our workshop and your delivery address.  Your tracking number will be emailed to you when your order is despatched.
